At this point in the process I&#8217;m riffing on the source material, getting a feel for the characters and generating the earliest bits and pieces of story elements.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ambarb.com\/?attachment_id=1279\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-1279\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1279\" alt=\"Notesweb\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ambarb.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/Notesweb.jpg\" width=\"550\" height=\"447\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>There are lots of different ways to draw Duke.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ambarb.com\/?attachment_id=1280\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-1280\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1280\" alt=\"Notes2web\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ambarb.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/Notes2web.jpg\" width=\"426\" height=\"572\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The character with the beard is Mercer, the ex-Cobra-Viper who was one of Sgt. Slaughter&#8217;s Marauders. If you&#8217;ve seen the cover art to the Transformers vs. G.I.Joe Free Comic Book Day issue, you&#8217;ll see that the M.A.C. helicopter backpack made it in to the actual comic.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ambarb.com\/?attachment_id=1281\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-1281\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1281\" alt=\"Notes3\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ambarb.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/Notes3.jpg\" width=\"372\" height=\"873\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Since there are comparatively few female Transformers, I&#8217;m trying to learn as much as I can about all of them.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ambarb.com\/?attachment_id=1282\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-1282\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1282\" alt=\"Notes4web\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ambarb.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/Notes4web.jpg\" width=\"550\" height=\"381\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The &#8220;Peace Thru War&#8221; poster is from G.I. Joe #3.
